Basketball Recap: West Stanly Comes Up Short

West Stanly lost against Piedmont back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The West Stanly Colts took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piedmont Panthers.

West Stanly's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Piedmont, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

West Stanly will head out on the road to square off against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monroe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. As for Piedmont, they will welcome Forest Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Forest Hills also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 57.9 points per game.
