Volleyball Recap: West Allis Hale Takes a Loss

West Allis Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wauwatosa West Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

West Allis Hale was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wauwatosa West work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 25-21.

Kayla Foster paced West Allis Hale's offense, picking up seven kills. Foster got some help from Jacenda Llanas and her eight assists. Foster was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

West Allis Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Wauwatosa West, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 19-13.

West Allis Hale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Brookfield Central on the 16th. As for Wauwatosa West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Brookfield East on the 16th.
