Soccer Recap: Madison East Takes a Loss

Madison East lost against Middleton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Purgolders lost 8-0 to the Cardinals. While losing is never fun, Madison East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Middleton are ranked 20th).

Madison East is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9. As for Middleton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-5 record this season.
