Midwest City is a perfect 8-0 against Del City since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bombers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Midwest City and three for Del City.

Midwest City made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bishop Kelley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bombers fell just short of the Comets by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bombers have suffered since April 13, 2024.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Del City and Northwest Classen, and Northwest Classen kept the tradition alive. The Eagles lost 13-3 to the Knights on Thursday.

Del City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demarrion Bruton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Del City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Midwest City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-17.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Midwest City has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Del City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Midwest City took their victory against Del City in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 19-4 score. Do the Bombers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
