Matanzas has gone a perfect 3-0 against Interlachen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Matanzas will welcome Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Matanzas: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home, while Interlachen has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Matanzas is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since February 12th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Menendez by a score of 4-2.

In other batting news, Devon Williams was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Interlachen is undefeated when Williams posts two or more runs, but 2-7 otherwise. Miles Hoffman was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Interlachen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastside only posted a batting average of .192.

Matanzas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Interlachen, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Matanzas took their win against Interlachen when the teams last played on March 5th by a conclusive 12-0. Will Matanzas repeat their success, or does Interlachen has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
