Football Game Preview: Foster Falcons vs. Fulshear Chargers + How To Watch

Foster hasn't had much luck against Fulshear recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Falcons will host the Chargers at 2:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Foster put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alief Elsik. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (36), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Fulshear entered their tilt with Alief Hastings on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 37-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Chargers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Bears are ranked 622nd).

Foster better keep an eye on Shaan Patel. He was instrumental in Fulshear's win, throwing for 305 yards and three touchdowns. Patel's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 305 passing yards.

Fulshear didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liam Clay and Elijah Anderson. Another thorn in Alief Hastings' side was Evan Ferns, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Fulshear's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Foster, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Foster suffered a grim 42-17 defeat to Fulshear in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Patrick Broadway ii (who rushed for 115 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
