Basketball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Takes a Loss

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer suffered their biggest defeat since January 23rd on Monday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Sacred Heart Irish an easy 67-41 win. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer still got an impressive performance from Emmett Glathar, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 26 points and six boards. That was a full 63.4% of the Titans' points, marking the fifth time in a row Glathar has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameon Dettmann, who put up ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sacred Heart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Meridian on January 3, 2026. Sacred Heart and Syracuse will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Irish's defense better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 68.7 points per game this season.
