Basketball Game Preview: Watersprings vs. Butte County Pirates

Watersprings will square off against the Butte County Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Saturday, Watersprings strolled past Garden Valley with points to spare, taking the game 68-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for Watersprings.

Meanwhile, Butte County entered their tilt with Raft River on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Trojans 61-25. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Watersprings is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Butte County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
