Basketball Recap: Oshkosh West Comes Up Short

Oshkosh West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Hortonville Polar Bears, falling 74-49. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 21st).

Oshkosh West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Hortonville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Oshkosh West Wildcats challenge the Ripon Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hortonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
