The Bishop Foley Ventures will face off against the Lamphere Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Foley will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Bishop Foley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Cabrini get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. The Ventures haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Emma Behnke made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Behnke was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abbey Jones was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Leah Rovner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple.
Bishop Foley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .839. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Lamphere hadn't done well against Cousino recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 11-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.
Brooke Harrison (2025) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Faithlynn Donegan (2025), who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Bennett, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Bishop Foley's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Lamphere, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bishop Foley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .513. However, it's not like Lamphere struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bishop Foley suffered a grim 10-4 defeat to Lamphere in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Ventures avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
