Lexington saw some tournament action  on Sunday. They were the clear victors by  a  17-5 margin over the Sycamore War Eagles. With that  victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
The team  relied heavily on  Kk Simko, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Kinley Melton was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Simko wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Lexington  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. They  got six more  hits than Sycamore's also-impressive total of 11.
Lexington's win bumped their record up to 15-8-2. As for Sycamore, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record  this season.
 Lexington is on the road again  on Sunday to play St. George's at 2:00  p.m. As for Sycamore, they will challenge Oakland at 2:00  p.m.  on Sunday. Oakland will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Sycamore surely won't give up without a fight.
