Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Helias

Helias won the last time they faced Bolivar and things went their way on Friday too. The Helias Crusaders were the clear victor by a 64-42 margin over the Bolivar Liberators.

Helias' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 19.2 points. As for Bolivar, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Helias will head out to face off against Jefferson City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Helias likes a good challenge. As for Bolivar, they are taking a road trip to take on McDonald County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolivar is facing McDonald County at the right time seeing as McDonald County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
