Softball Recap: Abbott Comes Up Short

Abbott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Riesel Indians, falling 14-3. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Abbott saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dinah Kaska, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Abbott's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Riesel, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Abbott didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against Blum on the 4th. As for Riesel, they will be playing at home against Hubbard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
