Baseball Recap: Plain Dealing Comes Up Short

Plain Dealing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-2 to the Simsboro Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in February.

Plain Dealing's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Simsboro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Plain Dealing Lions duke it out with Lincoln Prep Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Simsboro, they will host Haynesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
