Volleyball Recap: Wilder's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Wilder had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Notus Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilder not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Notus between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilder to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nancy Ramirez, who had 13 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Ramirez has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Escutia, who had 12 digs, seven kills, and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Wilder was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matches.

Wilder's record is now 7-2. As for Notus, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Wilder has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Compass Charter on the 23rd. As for Notus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Riverstone International on the 25th.
