Soccer Game Preview: Bullock County vs. New Brockton

The Bullock County Hornets will head out to take on the New Brockton Gamecocks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Bullock County knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully New Brockton likes a good challenge.

Bullock County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Park Crossing with a sharp 13-9 win two weeks ago. Given Bullock County's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Park Crossing are ranked 182nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, New Brockton kept a clean sheet against Long on Friday. They came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 2-0.

Bullock County pushed their record up to 5-0-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four games. As for New Brockton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
