Basketball Recap: Natasha Littlejohn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chase over Patton

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 47-26 to the Patton Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-14 back in January.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natasha Littlejohn, who posted four points and six rebounds. Those six boards gave Littlejohn a new career-high.

Chase's record is now 3-19. As for Patton, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-18.

Coming up, Chase will take on R-S Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patton, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hendersonville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Patton surely won't give up without a fight.
