Basketball Recap: Fayette Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Harris Armour and Kahne Dozier

Fayette Academy was the 46-42 winner over Hardin County when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings lost 56-36 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the defeat, Fayette Academy had strong showings from Kahne Dozier, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, and Harris Armour, who earned 14 points and five boards.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-4. As for Hardin County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Fayette Academy will face off against Crosstown at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hardin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
