Football Recap: New Brockton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Brockton had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 6-4 to make it six. They came up short against the Pike County Bulldogs, falling 42-21. The Gamecocks gained 113 more yards on the day, but it was the Bulldogs that made the best use of them.

When it comes to explaining why New Brockton lost, don't look at Anthony Silar. Despite the final result, he rushed for 31 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 61 receiving yards.

As for Pike County, they now have a winning record of 5-4. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with New Brockton: they've now won four in a row.

Braylin Jackson produced another solid performance rushing for 87 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.

As of now, neither New Brockton nor Pike County have any future games scheduled.
