Football Game Preview: Pewitt Brahmas vs. Rivercrest Rebels

The Pewitt Brahmas are taking a road trip to take on the Rivercrest Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rivercrest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pewitt, who comes in off a win.

Pewitt took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-22 win over Como-Pickton. The Brahmas' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Rivercrest played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of Cooper. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Rivercrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pewitt, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Pewitt might still be hurting after the 56-30 loss they got from Rivercrest when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Brahmas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
