Baseball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Argonaut Mustangs

For the second straight game, Galt will face off against Argonaut. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Galt has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 13.

On Wednesday, Galt didn't have quite enough to beat Argonaut and fell 5-4.

Galt got a good showing from Cash Myrick, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero earned runs gave Myrick a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Cody Dixon made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Jared Russell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Argonaut's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
