Comeaux is a perfect 3-0 against Westminster Christian Academy since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Friday just wasn't the day for Comeaux's offense. They fell 5-0 to David Thibodaux on Friday.

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was Kaplan who claimed the real prize. The Crusaders came up short against the Pirates, falling 12-3. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dreylon Pitre made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Comeaux has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Everything went Comeaux's way against Westminster Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Comeaux made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
