Dante Walker Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Green Street Academy's Dante Walker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Walker rushed for 60 yards.

On the year, Walker has averaged 21 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 19.2 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 38.8 rushing yards.

Sampson Posts Huge Game in 38-0 Victory

Wilbert Sampson was instrumental in extending Forest Park's winning streak to five on Wednesday. Sampson turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 151 yards and three touchdowns.

Forest Park pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Sampson and Forest Park will head out to take on Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Forest Park Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Tijuan Reed

TiJuan Reed's big game helped extend Forest Park's winning streak to five on Wednesday. Reed was dynamite, rushing for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Lewis, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Reed. When Reed last faced the Falcons back in September of 2023, he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
