Basketball Recap: Southwest Patriots vs. Kendrick Cherokees
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spencer, the Southwest Patriots were happy to have found some success on Friday. Southwest pushed their record up to 9-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Kendrick, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.
Southwest will head out on the road to take on the Greenwave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Spencer is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Kendrick, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Rutland is ranked 534th, while the Cherokees are ranked 516th).
