Cedar Bluffs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Dorchester on the road and fell 57-17. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cedar Bluffs in their matchups with Dorchester: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, High Plains was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-37 to Shelby-Rising City.
Cedar Bluffs' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. As for High Plains, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Cedar Bluffs was dealt a bruising 52-20 defeat at the hands of High Plains in their previous matchup back in December of 2020. Can Cedar Bluffs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
