Basketball Recap: American Fork Takes a Loss

American Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lehi Pioneers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-52 back in January.

Mckenzie Jepson had a dynamite game for Lehi, putting up 24 points. Those 24 points gave Jepson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brynlee Cook, who posted nine points.

American Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lehi, they moved to 11-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

American Fork has already played their next game (against Pleasant Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lehi has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Westlake.
