Football Recap: Anderson Cubs vs. West Valley Eagles
Friday just wasn't the day for Anderson's offense. They were outmatched by the West Valley Eagles on the road and fell 27-0. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Anderson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their rushing production: they averaged an imposing 177.75 rushing yards in those games compared to only 177.75 in the others. As for West Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.
