Soccer Recap: Bishop Gorman Falls Short Against Ranked Arbor View + How To Watch

Bishop Gorman faced Arbor View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Gaels fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 4-3. The matchup was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Bishop Gorman couldn't quite close it out.

Chase Stewart wasn't going to let Arbor View walk away unscathed as he scored all three of Bishop Gorman's goals, bringing his season total up to 20 goals.

Bishop Gorman's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-2. As for Arbor View, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Bishop Gorman will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canyon Springs at 5:45 p.m. on the 30th. Canyon Springs' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Arbor View, they will head out to face off against Centennial at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
