Basketball Recap: Colonial Beach Comes Up Short

Colonial Beach lost against Lancaster back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonial Beach Drifters took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancaster Red Devils. The Drifters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonial Beach's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Lancaster, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colonial Beach will head out to face off against Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lancaster, they will venture away from home to square off against Northumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
