Football Recap: Boone Takes a Loss

Boone was the 42-0 winner over Iowa Falls-Alden when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Toreadors fell 14-7 to the Cadets on Friday. The Toreadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Boone and Iowa Falls-Alden could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Toreadors will square off against A-D-M at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (147 vs. 15). Meanwhile, Iowa Falls-Alden (ranked 174th) will meet West Delaware (ranked 27th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
