Roosevelt kept up with Highland until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Presidents. The result was nothing new for Highland, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 7-5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Highland and Roosevelt will both be playing Saugerties the next time they take the pitch. The Presidents will head out to face the Sawyers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
