Llano had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Goliad Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 31-7 victory. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 11 matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Llano was led to victory by Cole Landers and Graham Prokop. Landers rushed for 89 yards and one TD on only nine carries, while Prokop picked up 69 receiving yards and one score.

The win was the ninth in a row for Llano, bringing their record up to 12-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Goliad, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Llano will square off against Edna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goliad does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
