Softball Recap: Wellsboro Comes Up Short

Northeast Bradford hit Wellsboro with a four-run seventh inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-6. The Hornets have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Wellsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northeast Bradford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

As of now, neither Wellsboro nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
