Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family suffers third straight loss at home

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Stanton by a score of 50-47. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stanton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Despite the loss, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family still got an impressive performance from Claire Korth, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Korth scored a full 31.9% of Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Faith Korth, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.

Among those leading the charge was Rebecca Stoddard, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Hupp, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Stanton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family will be playing in front of their home fans against Wisner-Pilger on Tuesday. As for Stanton, they will head out on the road to face off against Oakland-Craig on Friday. Hopefully Oakland-Craig focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
