Basketball Recap: Kam'ron Williams Key Part of Team Effort in Patriots Win

J.L. Mann's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kam'Ron Williams, who went 7-for-17 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. Williams' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Dontez Walker, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards.

J.L. Mann smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Greenwood still got an impressive performance from Cj Terrell, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 20 points and six rebounds. Terrell is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Jeremiah Brooks was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

J.L. Mann's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Greenwood, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.L. Mann will square off against Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in J.L. Mann's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Greenwood, they will challenge Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
