Football Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Compton Tarbabes + Official Tickets

Millikan is 8-2 against Compton since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Tarbabes at 6:30 p.m.

Millikan blew Lakewood out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lakewood got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Compton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 3rd. They took down Jordan 38-21 on Friday.

Millikan better keep an eye on Leton Washington. He was instrumental in Compton's win, throwing for 181 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 78 yards and one TD on only eight carries. 122 of Washington's passing yards were hauled in by Edward Rivera.

Millikan has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Compton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Millikan against Compton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 51-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
