Faith Christian came tearing into Saturday's contest with 28 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders by a score of 35-26. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Conquering Riders back in November of 2024, they had to take a 38-32 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gwen Hodson, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Hodson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 29 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Gomez, who put up six points and nine boards.

Despite the loss, Arthur-Okaw Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Avery Herschberger made all 7 shots she took to post 14 points. Herschberger also brought in his first field goal percentage of the season.

Faith Christian's record now sits at 34-2. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-6.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 38-32 loss against Calumet Christian on the 22nd. Arthur-Okaw Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
