Montgomery has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 28. They fell just short of the College Station Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Lukas Hosler, who's now up to five this season.

Montgomery now has a losing record of 6-7. As for College Station, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Montgomery (ranked 294th) will meet Brenham (ranked 620th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, College Station will square off against Huntsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 494 places (175 vs. 669).
