Thursday just wasn't the day for Mission San Jose's offense. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Lynbrook Vikings an easy 4-0 victory.

Mission San Jose's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lynbrook, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission San Jose will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moreau Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Lynbrook, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gilroy at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Lynbrook is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
