Basketball Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Find Success

After losing to Newark the last time they met, Palmyra-Macedon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders managed a 49-43 victory over the Newark Reds on Friday.

Palmyra-Macedon's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Newark, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Palmyra-Macedon will be playing at home against Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Newark, they will venture away from home to face off against Wilson Magnet at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilson Magnet knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Newark likes a good challenge.
