Soccer Recap: Ridge View Starts Season with Win at Home

Ridge View gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mid-Carolina Rebels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Blazers have beaten the Rebels the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rebels has come to flipping the script.

Samira Kimble and Caroline Mauricio Iglesias scored all three of Ridge View's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Ridge View is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Ben Lippen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mid-Carolina will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on March 6th.
