Basketball Recap: Hononegah Comes Up Short

After flying high against Boylan Catholic last Tuesday, Hononegah came back down to earth. The Hononegah Indians lost to the Rockford Auburn Knights on the road by a 56-41 margin on Thursday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 60-46.

Hononegah's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Rockford Auburn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Hononegah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockford Auburn, they will challenge Jacobs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
