Basketball Recap: Avon Skates Past Alcester-Hudson with Ease

Avon won the last time they faced Alcester-Hudson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Avon Pirates blew past the Alcester-Hudson Cubs 58-24. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

Avon's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Alcester-Hudson, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
