Benton Central entered their tilt with Rensselaer Central on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Bombers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Benton Central was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

Benton Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Minniear, who had three digs and three aces. Minniear is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Isabelle Adams was another key player, getting 19 assists and four digs.

Benton Central's record now sits at 7-2. As for Rensselaer Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Coming up, Benton Central will welcome Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rensselaer Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against West Central on the 15th.
