Softball Recap: Menomonie Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Menomonie and D.C. Everest squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Menomonie had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Evergreens. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

The loss snapped Menomonie's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-8 record. As for D.C. Everest, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.
