Basketball Recap: Sheboygan Christian Takes a Loss

Sheboygan Christian lost against Sheboygan Area Lutheran back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sheboygan Christian Eagles received a blow as they fell 63-49 to the Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Crusaders are ranked 61st).

Sheboygan Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Sheboygan Area Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Sheboygan Christian will challenge Cedar Grove-Belgium at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Cedar Grove-Belgium knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Sheboygan Christian likes a good challenge. As for Sheboygan Area Lutheran, they will face off against Howards Grove at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howards Grove will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Sheboygan Area Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight.
