Softball Recap: Melbourne Bearkatz vs. Izard County Cougars

While Melbourne put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Izard County. The Bearkatz walked away with a 3-0 win over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Bearkatz sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
The team relied heavily on Marley Rohr, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
Melbourne's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Izard County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.
As of now, neither Melbourne nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
