Soccer Recap: Souhegan Comes Up Short

If Souhegan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Laconia on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sabers lost 3-0 to the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers on Saturday. Souhegan were not able to make up for their loss to Hollis-Brookline from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Souhegan now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Hollis-Brookline, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Souhegan is set to challenge their familiar foe Stark at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hollis-Brookline will face off against rival Oyster River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
