Basketball Recap: Outreach Christian Takes a Loss

Outreach Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 66-31 loss at the hands of the Victory Christian Academy Chargers.

Outreach Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Trae Gharst, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards, and Davon Gibbs, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Gharst a new career-high in rebounds.

Outreach Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Victory Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.

As of now, neither Outreach Christian nor Victory Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
