Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Comes Up Short

Lincoln-Way West was the 2-0 winner over Homewood-Flossmoor when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18.

Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-8.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way West will take on Lincoln-Way East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they will face off against Rich Township at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raptors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
